The Challenge

Cognassist is looking for a Training Manager to join our team. This is a remote role to support our client implementations, although some travel (UK-wide) will be required post-COVID.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, this individual will work with our Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to deliver bespoke training to our clients during the implementation process, to existing clients on an ad hoc basis, and support in the delivery of online content for our soon-to-be created Community.

The Role

The successful candidate will work to ensure that specific client processes are understood, in order to adapt our training content to our clients, and ensure successful product adoption from Day 1.

In today’s ever-changing environment, you will be equally confident adapting your content for remote and face-to-face sessions, ensuring complex subject matter is always delivered in a clear and engaging way and all users walk away feeling confident in their usage of Cognassist.

You will support us in our journey to balance the need for bespoke client training with the ability for long-term SaaS-led scale.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt standard training content to align with customer processes, jointly decided by the client and the CSM during the implementation process;
  • Coordinate the training calendar between yourself and our freelance trainers;
  • Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.);
  • Deliver remote and face-to-face (when allowed) training sessions to individual clients and open sessions across our client base;
  • Work will the Product & Marketing teams to create scalable online on-demand content, functionality and assets;
  • Work with the Science team to understand the neuroscience behind our assessment and strategies and develop content accordingly, as it evolves;
  • Report on training attendance, issues, feedback etc.; and
  • Determine the overall effectiveness of the training content and continuously iterate as the world and product evolves.

The Skill Set

  • Proven experience as a Trainer within the SaaS space. Experience of the Education and EdTech sector preferable but not mandatory, with passion about the education industry and the role of cognition in deliver learner achievement;
  • Understanding of modern training techniques and how to adapt training between face-to-face and remote delivery, whilst ensuring equally strong product adoptions;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Excel, Powerpoint) & Zoom;
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in front of large groups of people; and
  • Superb time-management and organisational abilities.
