I joined Cognassist in February 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in software development across education, public sector, and mission-led organisations. I've always sought out roles where technology serves a purpose for good , where what we build genuinely helps people.

My path into engineering leadership has been shaped more by curiosity and collaboration than hierarchy. I've found I'm at my best when I'm helping others succeed, whether that's unblocking a complex technical challenge, refining a delivery process, or creating space for quieter voices to be heard.

Since joining Cognassist, I've worked across multiple parts of our platform, helping teams deliver scalable, accessible, and well-considered solutions. More recently, I've been navigating a late diagnosis of autism, something that's given me new insight into how we work, how we communicate, and what inclusion really means. The understanding and openness I've experienced here has made that journey a whole lot easier.
