I joined Cognassist in May 2025 as an AI Engineer, helping the team build out and refine their data science and AI initiatives. My role involves everything from developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating large language models to designing the infrastructure that supports both experimentation and deployment.

I chose to join Cognassist because I wanted to work on meaningful AI problems where the technology can have a real impact on people’s lives. From my first week, the onboarding experience was smooth and welcoming - I was able to hit the ground running while also feeling supported by colleagues across teams. 

Since joining, I’ve learned a lot about scaling AI development responsibly, balancing technical innovation and practical impact. What stands out most to me at Cognassist is the collaborative environment: the people here are lovely and genuinely open to ideas and motivated by the mission, which makes every project feel exciting and purposeful.
