I joined Cognassist as a Senior Engineer in May 2025 bringing 7 years of full-stack development experience. The exciting mission to make learning more accessible and inclusive made the choice to work here obvious with the positive impact I knew I would be able to make here.

From day one, the other developers and wider team have welcomed and supported me with my onboarding, giving me the chance to get up to speed quickly and make contributions to the product development in my first weeks at the company.

Since joining I’ve learned a lot about our tech stack and engineering best practices, but especially about cognitive diversity and how thoughtful product design can make a real difference. I really value the collaborative culture here. There’s a genuine willingness to help each other and share knowledge, as well as many personalised opportunities for learning and development, this makes building software at Cognassist very rewarding.
