I joined Cognassist in December 2015, when the first pilot site was in progress, and have seen the product grow and mature beyond all recognition, and thousands of learners helped. 

Before that I had worked in a software house, various companies and charities, and in Nairobi for 9 years leading a small development team responsible for Windows Forms and web-based flight planning software for the international charity Mission Aviation Fellowship. 

In 2014 I dropped down to being a developer so I could work locally and care for my Mum, and also to focus more on web development.

In 2011 I was dragged kicking and screaming into Scrum Agile, and became a convert, and in my first 3 years gradually introduced more agile practices at Cognassist.  

Great to be at Cognassist knowing that our work is supporting education providers to transform the lives of learners.
